Even a small part can add up to big savings when a critical component lasts longer in a rough environment: banish rust and corrosion and realise cost benefits with the new painted S-Flex flange

Even a small part can add up to big savings when a critical component lasts longer in a rough environment Lovejoy, the leading company specialising solely in coupling design and development, introduces their new painted S-Flex flange, offering enhanced protection against rust

Compared to traditional black oxide, the new painted S-Flex coupling protects the flange from salt spray and other chemicals, and is easier to handle.

The coupling is easy to install and during routine maintenance, is fully interchangeable with parts created by other manufacturers.

One of the four key specifications vital to selecting an S-Flex coupling is surrounding environmental factors; including extremes of temperature, space limitations, or corrosive conditions, such as caustic wash downs or harsh, abrasive chemicals, common particularly in the pulp and paper or petrochemical industries, where environmental factors often include all of the above.

Industrial manufacturing settings that utilise centrifugal pumps commonly use an S-Flex flange, most often in an electric motor/pump combination.

In addition to the pulp and paper and petrochemical industries, other pump scenarios common to S-Flex flanges include woodworking machinery, sugar, rubber and textile industries.

S-Flex flanges from Lovejoy come in five models, made from zinc die cast or cast iron, in sizes ranging from 3/8 to 5.5 inches.

Typically matched with a sleeve, these are available in EPDM rubber, Neoprene or Hytrel to address a broad range of application requirements.

Founded in 1900, Lovejoy enjoys an international reputation as the leading company specialising solely in flexible coupling design and development.

Lovejoy products are available worldwide through distributors in North America and 45 other countries, supported by Lovejoy offices and support staff in Canada, Europe and the USA.
