On Saturday 30 September the international community will come together to celebrate International Translation Day, so why not learn some greetings in a new language?

On Saturday 30 September the international community will come together to celebrate International Translation Day.

The 30th of September is the feast day of St Jerome, the patron saint of Translations, who is known for his works on translating the Bible into his mother tongue - Latin.

Lloyd International, one of the UK's leading translation companies is doing something a little different to mark the day.

From Friday 29th September to Monday 2nd October the Lloyd International website will carry a selection of translated greetings to be used across the globe.

Mike Lloyd, Chairman, comments "Our clients have contacts all over the world and as language specialists we are always encouraging better communication, so this year, to celebrate International Translation Day we thought we'd make greetings available to encourage better relationships as well".

If you have ever wondered how to say "Hello!" in Japanese or "Happy Birthday!" in Norwegian, then visit the website on the above dates and you will not be disappointed.

Log on to Lloyd International and start talking a different language!.
