For the needs of remote usage, a 'Local Hydraulic Power Unit' has been developed, to provide a complete hydraulic valve with a stand-alone actuator.

The local hydraulic power unit takes the advantages of hydraulic actuators to local or remote usage without the need for hydraulic power packs.

It is practical when hydraulics is appreciated but power packs not available due to long distances, single occasional needs or installation costs like in mining and marine applications.

The local power unit includes a Larox hydraulic cylinder, a hydraulic pump, a tank, a hydraulic oil tank and a control unit.

Control is available as local PLC (programmable logic controller) or P-NET (integrated in complete marine tank management MTM-system).

The local power unit is applicable to most valve sizes and pressure classes.
