Larox pump meters thinning agents for oil wells

A worldwide oil producer has chosen the Larox LPP-M pump to meter thinning agents to oil well heads, due to its reliability, dry-run capability and accuracy.

Thinning agents such as xylene and naphthalene aid in cleaning oil wells to increase their daily production.

These thinning agents are accurately metered into the pumping well heads at a flow rate of 3.8 litres per hour and a pressure of 7.6 bars.

Having dry running capability, the LPP-M pump reduces maintenance costs associated with all progressive cavity pumps.

As an extra, the flow verification system (FVS) is being used with the LPP-M pump, providing an alarm when the tank is empty.

As the replacement tube is the only repair item, quick, easy and on-the-spot maintenance is guaranteed, increasing daily oil production.
