Malvern Instruments opens new operation in China

Dr Ren Xu, a widely respected specialist in the field of particle technology, has joined Malvern Instruments as Applications and Technical Support Manager for the Asian Region.
An author of numerous publications and patents and a serving member of ISO and ASTM standards committees, Dr Xu joins the Malvern team from the Beckman Coulter particle characterisation business, where he led the product development and applications functions.
The appointment of Dr Xu coincides with the inauguration of the new Malvern direct sales operation in China, which will provide sales and support functions for the company's range of laboratory-based particle characterisation systems and rheology products.
Working within the Business Development Group, Dr Xu will be invaluable in helping to build the Malvern applications support capability for its growing numbers of Chinese customers.
