Spraytec particle size analyzer at ILASS
Americas
Malvern Instruments is exhibiting the Spraytec system, used widely for the analysis of particle size in a broad range of sprays and aerosols, at ILASS Americas 2007 (15-18 May 2007 in Chicago)
ILASS-2007 is the 20th Annual Conference on Liquid Atomisation and Spray Systems, North and South America It provides a venue for industrialists, researchers, academics, and students engaged in the scientific development and practice of atomisation and spray processes to meet and share recent developments in the field
The Spraytec system delivers in situ, real-time measurements of the particle size distributions produced by spray and aerosol devices at acquisition rates of up to 10kHz.
Using the technique of laser diffraction, it is designed specifically to address the unique requirements of spray characterisation, yielding robust, reproducible results for diverse products such as agro-chemical sprays, fuel injection systems and pharmaceutical inhalers.
