New Line Control Module for soft fruit industry

Marco choose the Fruit Focus 07 Exhibition in East Malling, Kent, to launch their new Trac-It LCM Line Control Module, designed specifically for the Soft Fruit industry.

This latest Trac-It Module enables the rapid and automated set up of date coders, inline barcode scanners and metal detectors from one selection at the PC screen, thereby ensuring that the correct label and printed information is used.

Traceability is also improved through automated information on each punnet.

Marco Marketing Director Mandy Hart added: "Fruit Focus is an important part of the Marco calendar and this year's show was the ideal platform to launch our latest product.

With the increasing demands put on our customers by the major retailers, adding a Line Control Module was the logical next step for our Packhouse Solutions Portfolio, which offers a level of control and traceability not seen before in the soft fruit industry.

Our Linemaster System is widely used throughout the fruit industry and it is always good to spend time with our current and future customers.

Each year seems to generate more interest than the last, and with the generation of over 50 strong leads and four system orders signed on the day, 2007 was no exception".
