The recent alarm management seminar held in Aberdeen by Matrikon Europe proved to be a huge success, with papers provided by Shell and EEMUA, plus ABB and Matrikon
This year's theme is "Building Communication Infrastructures".
Industry experts will come together to present on topics relating to the various OPC specifications, OPC Tunnelling technology and other new developments, as well discussing the role OPC will play in the future as the connectivity standard gains in popularity.

While there have been events to pull developers together, this is the first such event targeted at integrators and end-users".
The two-day event will feature a product showcase where OPC vendors and OPC-related technologies will be exhibited, presentations and discussions of case studies by end-users, keynote presentations from industry experts, and social events.
OPC is a published connectivity standard that is maintained by the OPC Foundation.
