Matrikon today announced that it will be hosting the 2005 Alarm Management Workshop for the Power Industry, to be held May 12th and 13th, 2005, in Detroit, Michigan The purpose of this event is to help plant personnel in the power industry understand the potential for plant control systems optimisation through alarm management strategies, as well as to prepare for upcoming government standards concerning health, safety and the environment

Alarm management a hot topic in process industry
The recent alarm management seminar held in Aberdeen by Matrikon Europe proved to be a huge success, with papers provided by Shell and EEMUA, plus ABB and Matrikon
In addition, a detailed focus on process optimisation and efficiency will be presented.
