Future papers for NPRA Conference

Matrikon will be presenting three papers in the Plant Automation Decision Support Conference track at the upcoming National Petrochemical and Refinery Association (NPRA) Q and A and Technology Conference, to be held in Grapevine, Texas, 18-21 October 2005 Donovan Tindill will present "Security and Data Access - Striking the Right Balance", on Wednesday, 19 October, in the Process Control Session (0830 - 1230)

This presentation will show how the Tesoro Alaska Refinery has optimised their information management by changing their business processes and adding additional applications without putting any additional data collection or management burden on operations.
Tom Porritt is an Operating Engineer at Tesoro, and has worked closely with Ken Johnson during this project.
Phil Celaya of Hovensa Refinery and Rohit Patwardhan of Matrikon will jointly present "Application of Automated Step Testing and Modeling on a FCC Unit at the Hovensa St Croix Refinery", in the Maintaining and Upgrading the Plant Automation Infrastructure Session on Thursday October 20th (1330 - 1700).
Phil Celaya, Senior Applications Engineer at Hovensa, is responsible for the implementation of MPC projects on refinery conversion units and sustaining benefits from current applications.
