Matrikon is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the Matrikon Achievement Awards in technology innovations within petrochemical and refining, pulp and paper, mining and mineral, oil and gas, and power industries Matrikon is proud of its tradition of presenting partners with awards at our annual conference

This year, we invite you to nominate a peer, colleague or company for recognition for their outstanding industry accomplishments at the Matrikon Summit.

The Matrikon Achievement Awards categories include.

* Best Innovative Use of Technology, awarded for solutions that have improved equipment monitoring, reduced manpower with alarm management or reduced maintenance costs.

* Best Practices, awarded for improvements made toward quality control, reliability and performance through research, knowledge and experience.

* Operational Excellence, awarded for superior partnering of technology with people in making operational improvements and change.

Category winners will receive US$5000 in software, positive exposure for their organization, and recognition among peers, colleagues and co-workers.

The awards will be presented during the Matrikon Summit: the data technology conference for industry executives, process control engineers and other professionals, May 7-10 in Chicago.

Through presentations, case studies, panel discussions, demonstrations and networking events, attendees are immersed in new ideas for making a step change in operational and business excellence.

Matrikon Summit is a truly international conference - last year's event drew delegates from 14 countries.
