The network is pleased to invite suppliers from all relevant technical backgrounds to become members.
The online, virtual presence of the centres has already attracted a broad range of leading solution providers.
Both centres' networks of suppliers have discovered real advantages in being able to bid for new work online and with little need for associated marketing effort.
Whilst creating an extra (low cost, high impact) route to market, the centres strive to provide common ground for peer group discussions, which is reported to be stimulating new combined services and cooperation amongst suppliers.
New members will benefit from working arrangements in which the centres seek out industrial service contracts and offer them to their members on an open-bid basis.
This applies to an increasing amount of commercial work as well as ongoing grant supported areas where new types of applications benefit from significant levels of EU funding.
Max-Serv specialises in providing benchmarking and improvement services into the Process Industries (including food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, rubber, plastics, paper and pulp) whilst Sim-Serv provides simulation capabilities into almost all areas of European manufacturing.
Both services isolate root manufacturing problems and put operators in touch with specialist solution providers from within their Europe-wide Networks.
