MCERTS 2005, the conference and exhibition event for everyone with an interest in air quality and measurement, looks set to be another sell out - at Bretby on 12-13 October

MCERTS 2005, the event for everyone with an interest in air quality, looks set to be another sell out MCERTS organiser, Marcus Pattison says "delegate places are selling fast, the workshops are all in place and the exhibition has been sold out for months - we are looking forward to another excellent event"

Commenting on the Conference, Dave Curtis from the Source Testing Association (who are currently celebrating their 10th anniversary) says " the main theme of the presentations will the new standard BS EN 14181 which applies to automated air quality monitoring systems.

This is one of the most significant and controversial Standards to hit the UK for years, and it is vital that everyone affected by it fully understands its implications.

Visitors to MCERTS 2005 will receive guidance on the Environment Agency Method Implementation Document and Technical Guidance (TGN M20).

The Conference presentations will be repeated on the second day".

In addition to the majority of continuous air quality monitoring instruments, there are now 305 people and 36 laboratories in the UK with MCERTS accreditation and the numbers continue to grow.

MCERTS 2005 will take place at the Bretby Conference Centre near Burton-on-Trent on the 12th and 13th October.
