MCERTS 2007 (25 - 26th April, Bretby Conference Centre, Burton-on-Trent) will open its doors at 0830 next Wednesday: the seminars and conference begin at 0945
This light back scatter instrument incorporates new patented technology and unlike other particulates monitors, samples a large area of the duct, so minimising the problem of unrepresentative sampling and associated bias.
The Zeta 5000 is the first instrument arising from a three year research and development programme, and the company's personnel will also be available to discuss further instruments capable of 100% duct sampling and of monitoring across very large spaces.
* PCME, a leading manufacturer and worldwide supplier of industrial particulate emission monitoring systems will be displaying the LMS181 and DT991 which comply with EN 14181 (QAL 1 approved to the requirements of WID (Waste Incineration Directive and LCPD (Large Combustion Plant Directive)).

These instruments provide process operators with a precise and robust solution to meet new requirements for particulate AMS.
Baghouse diagnostic and performance monitors will also be on display demonstrating the benefits of remote inspection for advanced warning of baghouse filter failure.
Responding to early indications of bag wear permits scheduled preventative maintenance resulting in the reduction of lost production time and costs.
* E-ON UK Power Technology is accredited to ISO17025 by the UK Accreditation Service for on site testing of a variety of gaseous and particulate emissions.
We can also advise you on compliance with the new standard EN14181 for the quality assurance of continuous emissions monitoring systems and carry out all your calibration and on-going QA requirements on these systems.
We specialise in technical support for the power industry and carry out a wide range of plant tests using various techniques.
In addition to exhibiting, we will also be presenting two workshops at MCERTS 2007.
Workshop 1: EN14181 AST and beyond: Passed your QAL2? This workshop will outline some of the pro's and con's involved in the carrying out the AST part of EN14181.
Workshop 2: Flue gas flow rates - a comparison of measurement techniques used to accurately quantify your flue gas flow: A tracer gas injection method is compared with various Pitot measurements for the measurement of stack gas flow rate.
* Durag Group has established a reputation for developing and manufacturing a range of high quality products in the field of environmental monitoring for the measurement of particulates, volumetric flow and total mercury.
The new D-R 800 (laser scattering) in-situ particulate monitor will be on display at MCERTS.
With an integral Evaluation Unit, the D-R 800 has been designed to measure fine dry (above dew point) in-stack particles.
Only requiring a standard flange and no optical alignment, it is a self-checking device operating with a two-beam laser diode.
This new development does not require any rotating parts inside the probe, thus eliminating any leakage.
* TSI Instruments are often used to monitor the spread of particles emitted from power plants, industrial facilities, and construction sites.
TSI has instruments relating to industrial emission sampling, at the source and at a distance.
CA-CALC Combustion Analysers are designed for direct source monitoring.
Other TSI instruments can be located downwind of suspected industrial emission sources and will monitor airborne particulates over time.
The DustTrak Aerosol Monitor with an Environmental Enclosure makes real-time mass concentration measurements of airborne contaminants.
Our Fast Mobility Particle Sizer spectrometer can be used to monitor, measure and characterise particulates from 2.5 nanometres to 20 microns - it makes real-time size distribution and number concentration measurements of particulates in the atmosphere, from natural and man-made emission sources - stacks, boilers and wood burners.
The Aerosol Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer will determine chemical composition of individual particles.
Visit us at the MCERTS Exhibition to find out more about the capabilities of the TSI range of air monitoring instruments.
