New training and development solutions launched

In a recent skills survey, 54% of companies reported a shortage of skills in the team leadership, management and technical areas.

The package of 'Health, Safety and Environmental Training', and 'Business Development Skills Training', was launched at the prestigious Maintec 2006 Exhibition held at the NEC in Birmingham.

The H, S and E suite includes IOSH, COSHH, DSE, Manual Handling, Fire and Safety Behavioural Training, targeted at managers, shopfloor and office workers.

It encourages new, safer behaviour in all participants, and recent pilot courses have been well received.

The Business Development Skills suite includes training workshops from recruitment and selection, through team and management development, to training design and delivery.

Each topic can stand alone, or be blended to suit each organisation's specific requirements.
