Heason makes the move to digital prototyping

A Micro Concepts product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Jul 5, 2007

Heason Technologies, the precision motion control equipment supplier, is to take its first steps in 3D digital prototyping with the help of Autodesk solutions and training provider, Micro Concepts

The decision to implement Autodesk Inventor resulted from a competitive two-month trial of Inventor and other products.

"Inventor will allow us to create virtual prototypes so we can save on production costs and reduce time to market," says Heason Technologies technical director Jon Howard.

"Micro Concepts was the only supplier to offer us such a high level of support both pre-sale as well as after the implementation.

Heason products are used in industries including aerospace and defence, semi-conductor and fibre-optic manufacturing equipment and simulation and robotics, fast-paced and highly competitive sectors which cannot afford to wait for the latest products," says Mark Lavery of Micro Concepts.

"We are excited to be helping Heason react to these conditions by reducing the time spent getting products to market through the effective deployment of digital prototyping".
