A new hi-cone packaging machine, flown into the UK from America, has been successfully offloaded and installed within four days, thanks to Moody Fastpack.

Moody Fastpack safely installed the four-tonne plastic-packaging machine into the Scottish Courage brewery in Manchester.

Tony Barkway, Managing Director, Moody Fastpack said: "Ensuring the equipment was offloaded, ingressed and installed efficiently, required very careful project management.

To position it correctly, we have also modified the full-can conveying system in the brewery".

Ken Eaton, Consulting Engineer at Scottish Courage said: "This was a challenging project which Moody Fastpack has handled within a very short space of time and with minimal disruption to our production schedule.

The new machine will improve efficiency when using different sizes of cans.".
