The new GMW MA 400 series multifunction panel meters are designed for typical single and three-phase applications in electrical control, generator sets and building management systems.

By offering the facilities of up to 13 individual instruments - ammeters, voltmeters, wattmeters (kW, kVA, kVAr, cos theta) and frequency meters - cost savings can be achieved in project planning, assembly, wiring and stock holding.

As a result, Metrix Electronics says that they are cost effective alternatives to traditional analogue type panel instruments.

Additional features include maximum demand indication, bimetal ammeter functions and the averaging and display of selected min and max values.

Measuring voltages up to 690V, phase to phase, and currents up to 5 A can be directly connected.

Higher voltages and currents can be connected through voltage and current transformers.

All models are housed in a compact 96 x 96mm DIN-size case that only requires 58mm depth behind the panel.

They can be configured for operation in single-phase, and balanced or unbalanced three-phase (3-wire or 4-wire) systems.
