New industrial interfaces, now available in the UK from Metrix Electronics, offer cost-effective conversion of Fieldbus or Ethernet data to standard serial standards These compact DIN-rail mounting miface interfaces are available to convert Profibus-DP, InterBus, CANopen or Ethernet TCP/IP data into electrically isolated RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 serial data
The input/output data width is freely selectable up to 200 bytes.
Housed in rugged 100 x 87mm metal modules for 35mm top-hat DIN specification rail mounting, these interface modules only require a 24V, 150mA DC power supply.
Configuration is by DIP selector switches and built-in LEDs provide status and diagnostic indications.
