Multifunction signal converter adds
functionality
The 6821 Multifunction signal converter adds functionality to the MCT signal conditioner product range: it is a signal converter, isolator, trip amplifier and serial to modbus converter all in one
6821 Multifunction signal converter from MCT, adds unrivalled functionality to their signal conditioner product range If the application is basic process signal conversion, or a more sophisticated requirement including mathematical processing of input signals, this can now be solved by a single product at an economical price

Data acquisition, free from cables and connectors
The Promolog wireless process and temperature data acquisition system is an innovative, modular, monitoring system giving the user freedom from cables and connectors
The 6821 is a signal converter, signal isolator, trip amplifier, dual channel mathematical signal processing unit with logical operations and serial to modbus converter all rolled into one device.
This innovative DIN rail instrument is programmed by either front panel key pad or via Mekuwin, free issue software.
It has a four digit LED display, 15VDC transmitter power supply and can be powered from either 24VAC/DC or 90-240VAC auxiliary supply.
Inputs include thermocouple, RTD, bi-polar mV, resistance and mA.
Outputs include 0(1)-5, 0-10 VDC, 0(4)-20 mA, two 2A relays which can be assigned by four configurable alarms and Modbus RTU.
Standard basic mathematical functions such as averaging Hi/Low select can be selected from the configuration menu.
More demanding applications such as flow or pressure compensation, or time based programmes, can be accomplished using the Mekuwin programme software.
