Ion Chromatography system for anion
determination
Metrohm introduce the MIC-10 Advanced high-pressure gradient Ion Chromatography system for the determination of anions with chemical suppression in production laboratories
The Metrohm high-pressure gradient system allows the separation of anions which elute very quickly and anions which elute extremely slowly in a single run The gradient technique, regardless of whether a carbonate or hydroxide eluent is used, offers enormous advantages for this type of application and provides a better separation with significant savings in time

Tighter process control in acid pickling baths
Online ion chromatography from Metrohm has enabled tighter process control of acid pickling baths, as the final cleaning stage prior to metal plating
The system makes it possible to work with very concentrated eluents.
The 828 IC Dual Suppressor is able to chemically suppress eluents up to a concentration of 50 mmol/L HCO3- or OH- at a flow of 1 mL/min.
Regeneration takes place continuously by electrochemical means, so that additional solutions are no longer required.
The 828 IC Dual Suppressor is also equipped with a system for CO2 supression that reduces the background conductivity to a few microS/cm.
The injection peak and system peak disappear almost completely, the baseline remains virtually constant even with increasing eluent concentrations.
The gradient system can be extended at any time to form a quaternary high-pressure gradient system. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
