With the 832 Thermoprep, Metrohm presents a revolutionary new way to analyse for water.

At several customers we have managed to slash reagent costs by 75per cent.

Combined with a coulometric or volumetric KF titrator, the Thermoprep also forms the ideal system for the automatic determination of water in samples that contain interfering components or release their moisture reluctantly.

The following industries, amongst others, have successfully introduced the Thermoprep into their laboratories: Pharmaceutical (e.g Freeze dried products moisture determined directly within their vial):Oil (e.g Transformer oils): Plastics (e.g PET chips).

Compared to some traditional KF techniques, the Thermoprep offers many advantages, such as that manual sample preparation is reduced to a minimum, there is no contamination of the oven or titration cell, every sample has identical and reproducible analysis conditions, leading to considerably improved precision in the results.
