Hyper intelligent titration
If you have ever made mistakes such as: titrated with the wrong titrant, used unstandardised reagent, titrated with reagent that was passed its shelf life end date, then now you need have no worries
If you have ever made mistakes such as: titrated with the wrong titrant, used unstandardised reagent, titrated with reagent that was passed its shelf life end date, then in the future you could have no worries Using our "intelligent" advanced technology, the latest Metrohm potentiometric titrator, the Titrando, removes such worries forever

Atline analysis in the food and beverage industry
Metrohm ProcessLab is a new at-line analyser continuing the success of the Titrando range of laboratory titrators
All the information about the titrant is stored on a micro chip which is discreetly hidden on the burette base plate.
Information stored includes.
Burette part number and unique serial number.
Burette cylinder serial number and volume.
Titrant currently in the burette e.g NaOH, HCl, etc Titrant molarity.
Shelf life of the titrant.
Frequency of standardisations.
All of this information is then read by the Titrando when the burette is attached.
The last 10 titrant standardisations are stored and can be plotted for trend analysis.
Action and intervention limits can be set on these standardisations.
Imagine this scenario: your test method states that the titrant to be used is 0.1M HCl.
You pick up 0.5M HCl (by mistake) and attach it to the Titrando.
You recall the correct method and you press start.
The Titrando has now read all the information from the burettes data chip and in a split second carries out a plausibility test and displays an error message telling the operator that they have selected the wrong titrant for that particular method.
This time you select the correct burette and you press start again.
Another error message says you should have standardised the titrant prior to use.
Standardisation is required every day, and if the standardisation is not performed then subsequent titrations using the titrant cannot be carried out until it has been standardised.
All these burette attributes can be switched off if not required.
The "Brainy" burettes are just a small part of the Titrando portfolio. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
