Metrohm is offering a wide range of training courses run by experience electrochemist Pam Wight.
As people leave laboratories and replacement staff take over their positions, or existing users need to get more out of their instrumentation then training/retraining programmes become major requirement Pam Wight, using her 11 years of experience in electrochemistry, will be offering Metrohm users a series of public and tailored customer courses which will suit all needs

General training courses (public) cover all aspects of a given technique in one day.
A typical programme for a titration course would cover: basic theory of titration, types of titration, calculation of results, electrode theory, electrode maintenance and choice of electrode system, correct choice of titration parameters, method development and trouble shooting.
Stand-alone half-day courses are available for the current range of Metrohm instrumentation and aimed at individuals or small groups of analysts/technicians.
A typical programme for these type of courses would cover: how to use the instrument(s), programming methods and calculation of results, interpretation the results, practical hints and trouble shooting.
Also available are half-day software courses.
These are similar to the stand-alone courses but are specifically focused on software and automation.
A typical programme would cover: method writing, database setup, database management, system setup, software security and password protection.
Tailored courses can be compiled to exact customer requirements, typically over 1-2 days.
These are formal training courses, which are tailored to exact requirements and can cover a range of topics to suit specific needs, such as: pH theory and correct use of electrodes, nonaqueous titration - theory and practice, Karl Fischer - theory and practice, ion chromatography - theory and practice, and voltammetry - theory and practice.
