Conductivity measurement in ultra pure
water / WFI
The Metrohm 712 Conductometer is a high precision lab instrument for conductivity measurement in ultra pure water, especially in water for injection, with the associated accessories
Conductivity measurement in ultra pure water, especially in water for injection, requires high-precision instrumentation and accessories The Metrohm 712 Conductometer is a high precision lab instrument which is unrivalled when it comes to very low conductivity samples. To take advantage of the high precision of the 712 Conductometer and to fulfill all specifications of USP645 and EP 2.2.38 Metrohm now introduce the 6.0914.040 conductivity measuring cell with Pt 1000, and the 6.2324.000 conductivity standard solution

The 6.0914.040 conductivity measuring cell with the Pt 1000 has been especially designed to comply with both standards, whether used for conventional or flow-through measurements.
The cell constant of c= 0.1/cm is ideal for the low mS-range and the integrated pT1000 temperature sensor provides a fast and accurate temperature measurement.
Carbon dioxide uptake can cause measuring errors in samples of low conductivity.
To solve this problem, the new 6.0914.040 conductivity measuring cell fits into the 6.1420.100 flow through measuring vessel.
The new 6.2324.000 conductivity standard with a conductivity of 100.0 mS/cm +/- 2.0 Ms/cm at 250C is based on a mixture of water and propanol.
It has been developed according to the recommendations of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (as published in the J Res Nat Inst Stand Technol 100,521 1995).
It therefore meets the specification of USP 645.
Its composition has been optimised to guarantee stable values with less interference by carbon dioxide uptake; the new conductivity standard is therefore ideally suited for the calibration of the new 6.0914.040 conductivity measuring cell. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
