Robotic sample processors

A Metrohm UK product story

Robotic sample processors with homogenisation, degassing and thermostating capabilities are available from Metrohm

In order to extend the range of applications of Metrohm Robotic Sample Processors, we have developed a thermostated sample rack, which has a temperature range from -10C to +50C.

The temperature bath is a separate, closed circulation system that does not come into contact with the thermostated samples and therefore cannot influence them in any way.

The heating and cooling spirals ensure efficient and uniform temperature control of the water bath, so each sample is perfectly thermostated.

Water bath racks are available in a variety of sizes: for beakers with a capacity of 75 ml, 120 ml, 150 ml, or even 250 ml.

The system requires a heating or cooling circulator.

Stable construction and sophisticated design makes the Metrohm Sample Processor a robust laboratory instrument for universal use.

The lift of the workstation moves the lightweight electrode just as easily as a 3 kg lab instrument.

For the homogenisation of a sample solution (eg, an emulsion), a high-frequency homogeniser can be attached without any problems.

Loads of up to 12 kg can be placed on the lift safely and exactly, time and time again.

Degassing carbonated beverages, alcohols, and other samples must often be purged of interfering gases, such as CO2.

Now you can automate that process on the Robotic Sample Processors.

A kit allows you to add a needle or degassing stone to the titration head.

A small valve will open before the titration begins to bubble an inert gas through the sample for as long as necessary.

Once the degassing procedure is complete, the valve closes and titration begins.
