New 871 Advanced Bioscan for sugar analysis
A pulsed amperometric detector for the highly sensitive determination of sugars, sugar alcohols and sugar acids, polysaccharides and other oxidisable substances
The heart of the 871 Advanced Bioscan is the pulsed amperometric detector.
The 871 Advanced Bioscan comes with a built-in injector and column oven.
Control and data acquisition are performed using the Metrodata IC Net software.
As the AD conversion takes place in the 871 Advanced Bioscan, no additional interface is necessary.
The expression 'sugar analyser' is actually too narrow as, apart from carbohydrates, the 871 Advanced Bioscan can also be used to determine alcohols, sugar alcohols, sugar acids, polysaccharides and other oxidisable or reducible substances.
Three measuring modes (PAD, DC and Scan) are available.
Together with a broad range of working electrodes (glassy carbon, gold, silver and platinum) this opens up a large range of applications with electrochemical detection. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
