Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Feb 12, 2008

Intertek and Metrohm will present a seminar on 9 April in Port Sunlight to discuss the latest developments in the analysis of Home and Personal Care products

Metrohm is synonymous with potentiometric titration, Karl Fischer titration (moisture analysis), ion chromatography and voltammetry (trace analysis) solving your analytical chemistry problems with quality instrumentation and support services, including both on-line and at-line analysis.

Headquartered in Switzerland, Metrohm is the name for quality instruments and services for chemical ion analysis all over the world: subsidiaries and distributors worldwide provide top-class service and instrumentation for all fields of chemical ion analysis.

Intertek, an established and leading international provider of quality and safety services, offers a vast range of analytical and laboratory services to clients across a broad spectrum of industries.

By partnering with Intertek, clients have access to a global network of advanced and routine testing laboratories for trouble-shooting, research and development, quality control and more.

Intertek also offer a range of consultancy services to support your data generation and interpretation needs; whether linked to determining the failure rate of a new material 'in service' through to the safety or efficacy of a next generation 'active ingredient'.

The seminar will be held on Wednesday 9th April 2008 at the NWTC Technology Centre, Port Sunlight, Wirral, from 0900 to 1600.

This will include an introduction to the two companies, including the Intertek Analytical Services for the HPC sector.

The Seminar discussions will cover pH measurement, showing how to do it the 'right way', surfactant analysis by potentiometric titration, water determination of difficult samples, and conclude with a laboratory tour and opportunity to discuss your applications.

Lunch and coffee will be provided.
