Level, flow and interface with one
single device

The hygienic Thermatel TD2 switches from Magnetrol International offer level, flow and interface capability in one single device, particularly suited for CIP/SIP applications

By setting up this sensor switch differently, the unit can detect level in highly viscous liquids, detect variable or flow/no flow conditions of liquids - gases or detect one liquid layer over another (interface) The hygienic Thermatel TD2 switch with a spherical tip sensor has also passed the in-place cleanability testing according to the EHEDG procedures (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group)

The spherical sensor does not contain any shadow areas that cannot be cleaned with standard spray balls.

The TD2 is available with an IP67, deep drawn 304 stainless steel enclosure.

Other TD2 compatible sensor options include mini twin tip sensors that can be mounted in "T" pieces as small as 1/2" in size, or low flow bodies for in-line mounting in lines as small as 1/4".

The low flow body sensor is capable of detecting flows as low as 0.02 l/h in a 1/4" pipe line.

The Thermatel TD2 uses enhanced thermal dispersion technology with automatic temperature compensation.

Automatic temperature compensation reduces the set point drift at varying process temperatures and provides a highly repeatable switch.

The TD2 adds on features such as continuous diagnostics, mA and relay output and local LED indication of flow.

Thermatel TD2 is able to withstand +200C process temperature and pressures up to 41 bar (sensors for higher temperature/ pressure are available). Request a free brochure from Magnetrol International ...
