New dew-point instruments

The new S8000 Integrale is the latest addition to the Michell Instruments Cooled Mirror Dewpointmeter product range

Based on the tradition of excellence in design of products with highest measurement performance and reliability, the S8000 responds to the latest feedback from many customers and humidity equipment users.

Available in several versions, the instrument offers unmatched accuracy in dew point measurements for both calibration and process critical applications.

The S8000 Integrale offers the customer many features including a powerful state-of-the-art thermoelectric heat pump that can measure and control dew points down to -60C.

The integrated sensor head allows the instrument to function as a stand-alone reference hygrometer.

Depending on the application a vertical (lab version) or horizontal (industrial version) configuration can be selected.

Also on show for the first time at MTEC 2008 is the Michell DryCheck dew point instrument.

The DryCheck has been developed by Michell as a response to demands from customers for an accurate, reliable, stable, but economic instrument, with simple sampling system, that can be easily installed for use in a number of dew point measurement applications.

The integrated sampling system of the DryCheck also includes instrument quality filtration and flow indicator as standard.

The DryCheck uses the Michell Instruments Easidew On-Line to measure dew point in the range -100 to +20C dew point, or moisture content in the range 0-3000ppm.

It utilises Michell advanced Ceramic Moisture Sensor, providing accurate and stable measurement.

The calibration data for each sensor is stored within the transmitter flash memory.

This allows Michell to offer the unique sensor exchange scheme, keeping calibration costs and downtime to an absolute minimum.

Also on show are products from the new Michell relative humidity range of instruments, including calibrators, transmitters and portable instruments.
