XTP-600Y analyses oxygen at trace levels

A Michell Instruments product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Feb 13, 2009

Michell Instruments will showcase a range of oxygen analysers at the Australasian Oil and Gas Expo.

The XTP-600Y Oxygen Analysers use recent developments in sensing technology to measure oxygen at trace (ppm) levels as well as percentage oxygen concentrations.

The XTP-600Y Oxygen Analysers are housed in explosion-proof enclosures.

The XTP-600Y is based on the Michell proprietary advanced thermoparamagnetic technology, which has no moving parts.

This makes the sensor ideal for applications where it is exposed to movement and vibration - such as on board an oil tanker.

Michell will also display the Condumax II and Promet EExd.

The Condumax measures the hydrocarbon dew-point of natural gas with optimum reliability and accuracy.

Condumax II is typically installed next to natural gas pipelines in hazardous areas.

It takes a sample of gas from the pipeline, conditions the gas at a preset pressure and filters out any contaminating particulate matter or hydrocarbon liquids.

Promet EExd offers the customer a moisture-measurement package for critical gas applications.

It includes features such as EExd Flameproof ATEX and CSA certification, complete zone one or two installation and a remote interface option for mounting in a safe area if required.

It also offers single and dual-channel moisture-content capability, with integrated electronic pressure-measurement, within the same single-field installed flameproof housing.
