Significant UK sales growth for Micro-Epsilon
Micro-Epsilon, developer and manufacturer of sensors, test and measurement systems, announces increased export responsibility for the UK MD Chris Jones, in Europe and USA
MD of UK sensor company gets recognition for 400% sales growth Due to the continued growth and success of its UK operation, the Micro-Epsilon Group, developer and manufacturer of sensors, test and measurement systems, is pleased to announce that Chris Jones, Managing Director of Micro-Epsilon (UK), has been appointed as Export Manager for the Western Territories.
Chris joined Micro-Epsilon in January 2002 as UK Sales Manager, and following successful growth in the UK market, then established Micro-Epsilon (UK).
Since taking the reigns, Chris has helped to drive continued sales growth, year-on-year, in the UK market, despite stiff competition, resulting in a 400% growth in sales during this period.
Chris feels this growth has been due to a number of key factors, including excellent product performance; very competitive pricing; and first class technical support and after-sales customer service, factors which, Chris says, are often lacking in the UK marketplace these days.
Chris will work closely with the Micro-Epsilon Group Sales Director Horst Bathke to develop and implement key strategies to enable further growth in the Export territories of Europe (excluding German-speaking countries), the UK and the Americas.
Horst Bathke commented on the appointment: "I look forward to the new methods and ways in which we can help to support our export market sales teams and customer base.
It is our long term strategic plan to significantly increase sales in those markets and I'm sure that combining the knowledge that Chris brings to this position with the excellent product developments we are undertaking, will allow Micro-Epsilon to meet and succeed these long term goals".
