FPSO contract completed in Brazil

The Petrobras company, through the Brazilian engineering company QUIP, has entrusted the execution of 6 dosing units to Milton Roy Europe, aimed at equipping a platform installed on an old oil tanker.
Material supplied included 6 dosing units including 43 double metallic or PTFE diaphragm pumps (mRoy, Milroyal and Primeroyal), nearly 900 valves and 350 instruments.
Their function is to dose chemicals from 1 to 12,500 l/h, at pressures from 1 to 220 bars.
The units are equipped with tanks from 20 to 46m3 .
The pumps were built in the Milton Roy Europe French factory and the final assembly was accomplished in England, close to Manchester.
Some units, too voluminous to be moved, have been dismantled into two sections to travel to the loading harbour.
The total installed weight of 130 tons was carefully scrutinised, as on the oil tanker each kilo is important.
This contract was completed in one year, from study commencement to the delivery.
In addition to these 6 dosing units, Milton Roy group has also supplied 33 Injection rate control device independent (IRCD) injection systems, manufactured by Haskel Milton Roy in Singapore.
