A new pump controller, the Varipulse, helps to provide extremely accurate dosing in applications requiring automated and proportional pumping, and has recently been introduced by Milton Roy UK
The unit is recommended for use in applications such as water and wastewater treatment, surface treatment, irrigation, chemical treatment or any situation that would benefit from automated and proportional pumping.
The unit operates on the principle of vector voltage control of electronics.
This involves compensating for variations in power supply voltage by adjusting and generating a voltage and frequency to control a three-phase motor through a series of starts, without compromising performance over the entire operating range.
This method of electronic control, combined with the use of a position sensor, results in extremely accurate dosing.
