Pinch valves help keep process lines in
full flow

Compact hydraulically actuated dosing pump
Milton Roy, the leading manufacturer of dosing pumps, will present the Primeroy K at OE2007, offering a flow rate up to 2500 l/h, and pressure up to 37 bar
Dosing pumps for high pressure injection
High pressure additive injection in oil production, or transferring thick, high temperature, corrosive and abrasive liquids, are increasingly typical demands made for today's metering pumps
One way to eliminate these problems is to specify pinch valves and fluids dosing and mixing specialists Milton Roy UK offer a wide range of competitively priced automatic pinch valves.
These valves are designed to provide the important advantages of providing a complete seal, without the need for glands, whilst also ensuring a full flow within the process line.
Also, the problems of a pressure drop occurring are avoided, even when viscous or paste like liquids are involved.
The valves are composed of a cylindrical reinforced sleeve of natural or synthetic rubber assembled within the valve body.
Valve closure is achieved by applying pressure, usually compressed air, which squeezes the sleeve into a flat configuration made possible by the pattern of the reinforcement.
This ensures that the valve shuts tight.
Standard sleeves are made of natural rubber with Neoprene or food grade rubber specified for hygienic applications.
Special elastomer or Viton sleeves are also available for more abrasive media.
The outer flanges of the valve are made from cast iron, while stainless steel plating with a Neoprene coating are other options.
Automatic pinch valves can operate with line pressures up to 4 bar and control pressures to 6 bar.
However, control pressure should not exceed line pressures by more than 2 bar.
The range includes models with PVC bodies in sizes DN20 to DN40mm, while aluminium versions can also be supplied in sizes up to DN300mm.
Models with cast iron bodies are also available. Request a free brochure from Milton Roy Europe ...
