The US Army Corps of Engineers Research and Development Centre (ERDC) have lab and field-tested in very rigorous dry desert conditions 10 leading commercial dust control agents, used for mitigating dust on helipads The ERDC recommended that the US Marine Corps procure EnviroKleen as the most effective dust control method

The EnviroKleen performance consistently finished first in all comprehensive test categories, from the critical "Pilot Rankings and Observations", also to first in the 'Weighted Palliative' Ratings.

EnviroKleen also outperformed dust control suppressants developed by the US Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) and the Navy Research Laboratory (NRL).

The US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) was tasked by the US Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) to conduct the extensive testing.

The tests were conducted at the Marine Corps Yuma, Arizona Air Station by the ERDC and the Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory.
