Eight side entry agitators have been specified on two rectangular absorbers on a Korean power station flue gas desulphurisation plant to assist in the improvement of environmental air quality
Eight Mixing Solutions side entry agitators have been specified on two rectangular absorbers by the contractor for a Korean power station flue gas desulphurisation plant to assist in the improvement of environmental air quality by reduction of sulphur dioxide gases and associated production of industrial gypsum The units are manufactured with exotic Zeron 100 wetted parts to provide high resistance to chlorides and other corrosive elements, and utilise conventional air injection technology to facilitate oxidation of the calcium sulphite waste to calcium sulphate
Incorporating special mechanical seals with hard faces to give durability with erosive slurries present in the absorbers, the units are an additional order to units supplied on earlier coal fired power generation FGD plants on the same site.
