Mixing Solutions has announced the appointment of John Brace as Managing Director with responsibility for its worldwide process agitation business for the entire Eastern Hemisphere In this capacity, Mr Brace will also be responsible for establishing a UK-based footprint for the Mixing Solutions parent company, Philadelphia Gear, one of the family of diverse companies owned by the Wind River Holding company in America

Mr Brace's 24-year career in OEM and aftermarket operations and sales management began in Europe with Dowty MECO, where he was Manager of Repair Services.
He later moved to the US with Dowty as Production Manager, eventually becoming the General Manager of the Joy Mining facility in Warrendale, Pennsylvania.
He joined Philadelphia Gear in 1999 as General Manager of its Houston facility.
Mr Brace was responsible for overseeing both the Gulf Coast and Southeast Regions, including all sales, production, engineering and supply chain activities.
"John's vast experience in the industrial manufacturing sector puts him in an excellent position to help build both the MSL and PGC brands as we continue the worldwide expansion of both of these companies," said Carl Rapp, Chief Executive Officer of the Philadelphia Gear Corporation.
Mixing Solutions provides fluid mixing expertise with standard and custom-designed agitator drives and related equipment from 0.25kW to over 2000kW.
The company also offers an extensive range of advanced impellers and application technology for all mixing requirements, no matter how arduous the operational environment.
