MES software for Johnson + Johnson R+D site

Johnson and Johnson has deployed manufacturing execution system software from Mar-Kov Computer Systems at their R+D site at Morris Plains, New Jersey

Mar-Kov Computer Systems, a leading provider of Manufacturing Execution System software (MES), has announced that it has completed the installation of its MES solution for pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacturers at the Johnson and Johnson site in Morris Plains, New Jersey.

The Morris Plains site was acquired from Pfizer on 20 December 2006, and houses Pfizer Consumer Healthcare.

Worldwide market-leading brands produced by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare include Listerine, Nicorette, Lubriderm, Visine, Neosporin, Sudafed, Zantac and Benadryl.

The J+J site in Skillman, New Jersey has been using Mar-Kov software for the past 5 years.

Both Skillman and Morris Plains are R+D sites, with Skillman also having a pilot plant.
