PES filters for fast economical sterile
filtration

Express SHC PES filters provide efficient, economical processing for a range of moderate to highly plugging process fluids, including cell culture media and protein-containing solutions

Millipore Express SHC (Sterilising grade High Capacity) polyethersulfone (PES) filters provide efficient, economical processing to a range of moderate to highly plugging process fluids, including cell culture media and media additives, process intermediates and protein-containing solutions These hydrophilic filters provide increased capacity, high sterility assurance and broad chemical compatibility across a wide pH range (pH 1- 14)

The Millipore Express SHC devices are constructed with asymmetric composite membranes (patent pending) to deliver high permeability and up to twice the throughput than other sterilising grade PES devices.

By improving process efficiency up to 50%, the Millipore Express SHC filters allow biopharmaceutical manufacturers to either reduce filtration area while maintaining the same batch volume, or increase throughput without increasing filtration area requirements.

As a result, Millipore Express SHC filters increase productivity, shorten cycle-time and reduce costs.

They are available in a variety of filter formats and sizes to meet customer needs from process development to full-scale manufacturing.

These include OptiScale small scale disposable screening devices, cartridge filters in sizes from 5 to 30-inch, and a full range of autoclavable and gamma compatible Opticap XL and XLT disposable capsules. Request a free brochure from Millipore ...
