Additionally, at the gala dinner of the Italian Industrial Pharmaceutical Association (AFI) symposium on June 14, Millipore received a "Fidelity Award 2006".
The special award recognised the company's strong 20-year support and contributions to AFI.
Approximately 95 organisations attended this year's AFI congress, which was held in Rimini, Italy.
"It is challenging to stand out from the competition at any exhibition," said Bruno Wandji, European Marketing Communications Manager in the Bioprocess division of Millipore.
"Our MarCom team presents our new, innovative solutions and services to attendees of all congresses in any geography".
Both the R3N and AFI are non-profit associations with annual congresses that draw participation from pharmaceutical and biotech industry representatives as well as leading market suppliers.
