All modules have a standard controller and temperature compensation.
The graphics modules have negative voltage onboard.
The use of common footprints between certain modules allows OEM products to be easily upgraded from text to graphics displays or for OEMs to produce different products sharing the same PCB design.
Assembly of the displays is easy with the pre-assembled header pins.
No need for cable, screws or pin header saving time and money.
Character displays are available in 1 x 8, 2 x 8, 2 x 16, 4 x 20 formats, and graphics displays feature 122 x 32, 128 x 64 and 240 x 128 dot layouts.
Most DIP display modules feature low power LED backlights in green-yellow, blue-white or black-white.
The character displays are compatible to HD44780 in pin-out and software and the graphics displays have the SED1520, KS01707/0108 or T6963 controller onboard.
All displays are available on short lead times.
