Haven LNG
Dresser UK has won a Euro1.1M contract with CBI John Brown Process Energy to provide cryogenic control valves for the new South Hook LNG receiving terminal, to be built near Milford Haven, South Wales

The South Hook LNG terminal will be used for regasification of the gas coming from Ras Laffan in Qatar.
ExxonMobil Gas Marketing Europe will purchase the gas and then distribute it to the UK market.
This includes marine unloading docks, five 155,000 m3 cryogenic LNG storage tanks, an open rack vaporisation facility and export pipelines.
The project will process 30 billion m3 of gas per annum and will produce 15.8 mtpa of LNG, 6 MMTA of condensates and 1.7 MMTA of propane/butane.
Gas delivery is scheduled to start by the winter of 2007-08.
This LNG terminal project is a major success for Masoneilan in the UK which was strongly assisted by an international Masoneilan team that worked to compile passed LNG successes, provide specific application references and show our vast experience in these applications.
Masoneilan is confident that this contract will be followed by many others.
As a matter of fact, six other sites have been put forward as suitable for LNG facilities around the coast of the UK.
All these outstanding control valves have been successfully manufactured and delivered from the Masoneilan operations in France.
