Simple pump vibration monitoring probes
The latest eddy current probes from Monitran, for non-contact vibration monitoring of pumps, have been designed to offer reliable AC or DC displacement measurement, with a 4-20mA output
The latest range of eddy current probes from Monitran have been designed for monitoring pumps, booster sets and other pumping systems Now supplied with a direct 4-20mA output, the latest eddy current probes have been developed for use with PLC or SCADA systems, thereby eliminating the need for expensive interface modules, and providing an extremely cost effective method of detecting early wear or misalignment of pump shafts and bearing surfaces

Industrial accelerometer goes to any depth
A new compact industrial accelerometer from Monitran can operate completely submerged to a depth of 100 metres: ideal for vibration monitoring of underwater pumps or in outdoor weather conditions
Designated the MTN/EP Series, the latest eddy current probes are manufactured by Monitran in the UK and offer linear measurement ranges from 0 to 2mm to 0 to 20mm, a sensitivity from 1.4mV/micron to 8.0mV/micron, and can be supplied with a choice of flange mounting or threaded bodies.
The 4-20mA versions are supplied complete with dedicated eddy current probe drivers (MTN/ECPD/60 and MTN/ECPD/85), delivering an output that is directly proportional to AC vibration or DC gap.
The latest series of products features encapsulated probe tips and a simple, rugged stainless steel construction, with excellent resistance to the ingress of oil, water and other contaminants, while ensuring thermal stability at temperatures ranging from -30C to +150C.
As a result, each instrument is virtually maintenance free, even in the toughest of installations.
The latest Monitran range of eddy current probes is backed by a choice of optional accessories, including driver housings, extension cables and probe holders.
The company also supplies a range of switch boxes and signal conditioning devices.
