Simple pump vibration monitoring probes
The latest eddy current probes from Monitran, for non-contact vibration monitoring of pumps, have been designed to offer reliable AC or DC displacement measurement, with a 4-20mA output
New vibration sensor has choice of output signals
A new vibration sensor is designed to meet the requirements of building service managers, who are using vibration monitoring systems to help provide trouble-free utility services for their workplace
One of the new designs now offers a side entry connector or cable together with a low profile housing for fitting into those awkward places where space is limited.
Features many engineers have been asking for.
The new range allows engineers to monitor vibration levels of pumps, fans, compressors, motors, conveyors, drilling rigs and all types of rotating machinery which are in potentially explosive operating conditions.
This covers environments of inflammable gases, fumes, chemicals, powders and dusts found in many industries.
Each unit has full ATEX and Eex certification and like most of Monitran sensors is robustly constructed throughout in stainless steel, welded and sealed to IP67 ensuring that the sensors offer reliability, optimum performance and long service in tough operating conditions.
Depending on the chosen model, frequency responses of 2Hz to 10kHz are available with operating temperature ranges covering a maximum of -55 to 90C.
A wide choice of electrical connections are offered with connectors or robust cable, with a submersible version for operation to depths of 100metres max (10bar).
All models offer a choice of mounting threads and the popular 'Quick-Fit' options for fast fitting of the sensors.
