TheraBreath and MonoSol Rx announce they will jointly commercialise film strips containing OXYD-8 oxygenating formula for bad breath as well as film strips containing benzocaine for oral care pain

TheraBreath and MonoSol Rx announced today that they will jointly commercialise film strips containing OXYD-8 oxygenating formula for bad breath as well as film strips containing benzocaine for oral care pain and sore throat use The film strips containing OXYD-8 will extend the current line of TheraBreath products that fight bad breath

The creator of TheraBreath, Dr Harold Katz, is the founder of California Breath Clinics and is regarded as the leading expert on the treatment of bad breath.

Unlike conventional bad breath products, which merely mask odours, the Dr Katz TheraBreath products actually target odourous sulphide compounds by adding oxygen to the tissues and thereby blocking anaerobic activity.

Film strips containing benzocaine will be the strongest benzocaine strips available on the market and will be sold in separate product lines for oral care pain and sore throat use.

Dr Harold Katz commented, "I am delighted to extend the line of TheraBreath products with new TheraBreath products utilising the MonoSol Rx film strip technology.

These strips will be the finest in the market in their respective categories and are made possible by the strength of MonoSol Rx intellectual property and development, formulation and manufacturing expertise".

MonoSol Rx LLC's CEO, PScott Bening, added, "TheraBreath products represent quality and efficacy and so we are delighted to partner with TheraBreath.

Those in the industry will recognize the inherent challenge of working with oxygenating compounds in film, and the milestone this represents for our product formulation and manufacturing efforts.

Moreover, we believe that the oral pain market in particular needs a new efficacious and consumer-friendly product.".
