MonoSol LLC, the world leader in specialty water soluble films, today announced that its quality system has been certified to the ISO 9001:2000 Standard by STR-Registrar LLC, a leading quality management systems registrar accredited by the American National Standards Institute - Registrar Accreditation Board (ANSI-RAB) "MonoSol is dedicated to being a high quality supplier and our ISO certification demonstrates our commitment

It illustrates the importance we place on continually providing quality products and services and assures customers that our processes conform to the highest standards," noted Bob Rottinger, Vice President and General Manager of MonoSol LLC.

The quality management standards for the ISO 9000 series programme were developed by the International Organization for Standardisation, based in Geneva, Switzerland.

In order to receive certification, a company must document its quality management system and provide objective evidence that it follows this system.

In addition, the registered company must demonstrate that this system provides for continuous improvement of its processes.

Once registration is achieved, the company is subject to continuing review and audit to maintain certification.
