Extra production facilities for water
soluble film
MonoSol has finalised the purchase of a 15-acre industrial green field site in La Porte, Indiana, for new high-tech film production lines and pilot-testing laboratories
MonoSol, the global leader in production of custom-formulated, water soluble polymer-based film products, with headquarters in Merrillville, Indiana, and manufacturing plants in Portage, Indiana and Hartlebury, UK, has finalised the purchase of a 15-acre (61,000 square meters) industrial green field site in La Porte, Indiana Complementing the on-going operations in Portage, this acquisition provides MonoSol with the necessary space for additional manufacturing capacity to meet expected worldwide demand for its products

Specialty edible films for unit-dose and portion control for food manufacturers and consumers also will be at the new facility.
