"We switched to the Moeller Electric easy range after producing a few designs based on a supposedly similar product from another major manufacturer," said Dave Taylor, Technical Manager at William Taylor Pools.
"We found the original product unnecessarily complicated to use, whereas the Moeller easy relay genuinely lived up to its name.
With the easy relay, developing new designs is fast and straightforward, and it's also very simple for us to try out new ideas which help us to make improvements to our existing products".

An extensive range of Moeller Electric products, including motor protection circuit breakers, contactors, distribution circuit breakers, pushbuttons and switches, as well as easy relays, is used in the new William Taylor Pools showroom, that incorporates one of the largest automation systems that the company has developed.
In addition to a brick sauna, tepidarium, tropicarium, igloo and salt room, the new showroom features a Rasul room, that is used for a form of traditional mud treatment that is now growing rapidly in popularity.
"The Rasul room requires a more than usually complicated control sequence," said Dave Taylor, "since it incorporates a sauna, a stove, an extractor fan and power showers.
In addition, the lighting has to change colour at various stages in the sequence".
On entering the Rasul room, the user simply presses one button to initiate the treatment sequence.
The first stage is to apply mud to the body, after which the room is heated and the lighting changes colour.
After a delay, a steam generator is turned on, and the lighting changes again.
The final stage of the sequence involves a further lighting change, and the activation of the power showers to wash away the mud.
"The easy relay gave us the flexibility we needed to optimise this sequence to provide the most enjoyable user experience," said Dave Taylor.
"And, to further enhance the experience, we added an MFD Titan electronic display unit to the easy relay.
This shows the users of the Rasul room exactly where they are in the sequence at all times.
Since the MFD Titan interfaces directly with easy relays, and offers IP65 ingress protection as standard, this useful and impressive addition was very straightforward to include".
The experience of William Taylor Pools has been that Moeller Electric easy relays are significantly more straightforward to use than competitive products and that, in conjunction with other control and distribution products from the extensive Moeller Electric range, they are the key to producing versatile, dependable and cost-effective automation installations.
