Mogensen Raw Materials Handling has recently supplied a special high-temperature vibratory screen for the processing of hot, -200mm coal-fired boiler economiser ash at an Irish power station
The feeders, which are comprehensively lined with chrome-carbide wear-plates, will replace obsolete electro-magnetic units.
Power is provided in each case by two side-mounted Invicta Type BL 60-105/6 rotary electric vibrators each rated at 6200 watt.
The mode of vibration is linear, 9 mm peak-to-peak (machine unloaded) and at a frequency of 960 rpm.
The feeder control panel designed by the Invicta Drives and Controls Division incorporates a Teco-Westinghouse frequency inverter system.
Mogensen equipment is well-established at Mountsorrel having been in use there since 1976.
